Lidding Foil
RAVIRAJ FOILS LIMITED manufactures a range of LIDDING FOIL suitable for sealing to PP (Polypropylene), PS (Polystyrene), PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), PET (Polyethyleneterphthalate), PE (Polyethylene) and HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) jars/cups/tubs substrates with the following general specification. The final product specifications are made as per agreed contract with the customers.
Foil Material
Soft, fully annealed Aluminium alloy AA-1200 or AA-8011 confirming to Aluminium Association specification. The foil can have either side surfaces bright or one side bright and the other side matt as desired by the customer.

Sealant & Coating
2.1Different tub materials ask for different sealant film or lacquer for compatibility. One side of the foil is either coated with a heat seal lacquer or laminated to some polymer films. The type of sealant are:

We also have a common lacquer for PS, PVC and PET (As the lacquers are adjusted as per the substrate, it is important to mention substrate with each enquiry).
Other side, the top side of the lidding foil, is coated with a clear protective lacquer which is treated for printing or printed as per customers' design. (Presently up to three colours).

Lidding foils are available in slit reel form.

OD of 400 +/- 10 mm maximum or as specified by the customer
Joints
Butt type with 25 mm cellotape, Average number of joints are less than two.
Reel Wander: Within +/-1 mm.
Identification
Each reel is identified with a ticket having reel number, specification, operator number and manufacturing date.
Packing
Packed in cardboard carton.
For export, the reels are packed in wooden crate/box..
Relevant markings are provided in each outer package.
Test Certifications
Test certificates giving the actual observed values of different parameters would accompany the supplies.
